Affiliate disclosure & how we make money
Last updated 14 October 2026.
The tracker is free to use. We keep it that way by earning a commission when you buy through some of the outbound links on this site. If you click through to a retailer and buy, we may receive a small payment at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would have anyway.
UK Air Con Tracker is a trading name of POLICYANDPLAY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17253846), registered office 7 Cosford Drive, Shortstown, Bedford MK42 0DQ. Email hello@ukaircontracker.co.uk.
How we mark affiliate links
Every outbound link we earn from carries the tag rel="sponsored" and a small “affiliate link” note beside it. Pages with affiliate links also say so above the first one. Our own PDF guides contain no affiliate links.
Used and refurbished items
eBay listings include used, refurbished and open-box items from businesses and private sellers. We label them as used or refurbished at the link, using the condition eBay gives each listing and the seller’s own title. Always read the seller’s description, condition and returns terms on eBay before you buy.
Our independence
Commission never changes what we show you. Stock status and prices come from retailer data, not from who pays us most. The cheapest in-stock option is always shown as the cheapest — full stop.
Prices & stock change fast
During a heatwave, stock and prices move by the hour. We check regularly and timestamp every figure, but always confirm today’s price and availability on the retailer’s own site before you buy.
Who we work with
Links are monetised through established affiliate programmes covering major UK retailers. We are not owned by, or speaking for, any of them. The programmes we participate in are:
- eBay Partner Network (EPN). As an eBay Partner Network affiliate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Amazon Associates (associate tag
ukaircon-21). As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. - Awin — covering retailers including Hughes, Geepas, and Loch Electronics.
- Levoit (VeSync) brand partnership. Buy buttons for Levoit air purifiers and humidifiers use Levoit’s own Amazon tracking link instead of our Amazon tag, and Levoit pays us a commission on those sales. Levoit sent us review units free of charge; reviews of them say so. Levoit does not pay for placement. The “Levoit partner picks” band is marked “Ad” because we earn commission on it, and it does not change our rankings.
Brand advertising
Brands can buy labelled inventory (Advertisement or Paid partnership) on the stock checker, a relevant guide, the homepage or Climate Watch. That is advertising, not a review. We do not sell editorial ranking, a cheapest badge, or the right to call a USB gadget an air conditioner. Advertise with us.
