As of 22 September 2026, Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon UK’s autumn member sale, from 00:01 on Tuesday 6 October to 23:59 on Wednesday 7 October. For a UK house that week, buy heat and drying: an oil radiator, a dehumidifier, a heated airer. Leave the portable air conditioner for summer.

What was buyable on 21 September
We asked Amazon’s catalogue API that evening. Eight units on the winter shelf answered in stock. The Dreamland throw was the only one of them showing a saving. De’Longhi’s Dragon 4, the Dimplex 2kW, the Silentnight double blanket and the Meaco Zambezi did not. Those four stay off the shelf until a later check says they are buyable. No price is printed here. The 21 September figures would be wrong by the time you read this.

They wait for a percentage. October in Britain is a stock problem: the first wet cold week empties heated airers and small oil radiators, sale or no sale. If you need one of those for a cold kitchen or a soaked school run, buy the unit that is in stock this week. Use the two sale days if the member price is actually lower when you open Amazon. If it is not, you still have a dry house.
Portable air conditioning is the summer aisle. A heatwave does not land on 6 October. Leave that budget alone.

- From 00:01 on Tuesday 6 October 2026 to 23:59 on Wednesday 7 October 2026, UK time. It is the autumn event, not July Prime Day. The banner and the home-climate shelf on this site come down at midnight on 8 October.
- Do I need Prime?
- Member prices need an Amazon Prime account. Anyone can open the product page. If you are not a member, you pay the ordinary price, which may be the same unit we already listed as buyable on 21 September.
- Will you email me when an Amazon price drops?
- No. Stock alerts fire when a unit we track is buyable again. They do not fire because an Amazon price moved. The 29 September email is one heads-up that the dates are coming.
- What should a UK home buy for this sale?
