The Dyson TP07 is a brilliant piece of engineering that's also a terrible value proposition for pure cooling. As an air purifier + fan combo, it's arguably best-in-class — the HEPA filtration is real and the app is excellent. But at £479 plus £65/year in filters, you could buy a MeacoCool 9000 that actually lowers your room temperature AND a standalone HEPA purifier for less. Buy the Dyson if you want one beautiful appliance that does both jobs adequately. Buy a Meaco + Levoit if you want the best of each.
